Son Servera, in Mallorca, Cuevas del Almanzora and two municipalities are apparently unrelated. This problem was solved when Miguel Servera, Mallorcan famous gallery owner, Cuevas del Almanzora visited during a stay in the province, some years ago. His personal story changed that day, because around his home he could not take his mind off to the lonely and closed house that stood before him in the cuevana Avenida de Barcelona. It was the year 2003.
Villa Anita's story is singular. In the XIX century , as a result of the large mines of Sierra Almagrera, several families of Cuevas del Almanzora embark on a frantic enrichment that contributed to the social and urban transformation of caves in barely four decades. Despite the orange groves environment in which it was framed since it opened in the last decade of the nineteenth been lost, the palace still retains the charm of its enormous supported viewpoint and sober but imposing silhouette of the facade.
The commitment of the Majorcan gallery, with friendship and advice of Pepe Grano de Oro, asleep splendor returned to a house that does not deserve not look. After an uncertain debut in 2008, with an exhibition of Eduardo Roca, As fate would have it the same artist, by Adele Razkövi, who star in the revival of an idea to provide Cuevas del Almanzora and Spanish suereste of an art gallery and an artistic and cultural center designed to be a meeting place for the local society and foreign, with the sole intention to build common proposals for Cuevas del Almanzora. There have been contacts with the Cuevano mayor to try a strategy of positive and inclusive collaboration for the benefit of all.
The next day 8 April Villa Anita will again shine in its glory with the opening of the exhibition of Eduardo Roca and Adele Razkövi, two artists who through painting and sculpture have reached a high level of recognition, because his works have traveled half the world (Cuba, Austria, Germany…) Definitely, It will be one of the quotes of the year for lovers of culture, art and architecture, in the same batch. It's a perfect excuse to Cuevas del Almanzora.
