It is one of the paradises within the interior travel, with monumental attractions, like the castle; his mining past, with the town of Las Menas; as well as natural and gastronomic, that place it as a first class destination”, It has been said.
Garcia Egea, who has held a meeting with the Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Tourism in the Serón City Council, Caridad López Martínez, has taken advantage of the stay to visit some of the tourist enclaves of this town located “in an unbeatable setting, in wild nature”, between the Sierra de los Filabres and the Almanzora river valley.
“Serón is a town with a mining mark, that has managed to transform itself into a unique rural inn, with excellent routes, like the path of the Millenary Holm oaks, the one of Las Menas or the Panoramic of Serón, in addition to the old train station converted into a greenway”, the delegate has pointed out in a note.
The territorial responsible has also recalled that “more and more travelers are seeking the tranquility of rural destinations, where to spend a few days in contact with nature, in outdoor spaces and without crowds. It is a new way of sightseeing, that has come to stay with the pandemic; and here the province of Almería has a lot to offer”.
