The Andalusian, through the Municipal Plan of Cooperation, has granted municipalities and Purchena Albanchez, 128.045 and 182.587 euros, respectively, so they can finish the work of his town halls. Both figures represent the entire budget included in the application that submitted the two localities Almeria.
In his visit to the town, the delegate of the Board, Sonia Ferrer, has checked the status of work on the new town hall Albanchez, located in an area of town where there are already other public facilities. The structure of the building, already built, has three floors, as indicated by the Board in a note.
When completed, Albanchez City Council will move from its current location in the plaza of Spain, to the new location in the upper area of the town where the municipal theater are 'Rafael Alberti’ and day stays and residence near the rural public school 'Filabres'.
As Purchena, the Board has allocated 182.587 euros for the completion of the construction of the new Town Hall. The work enable the completion of the parts of the building, known as House Tax, where the Plenary Hall and the offices will be located.
Attorney House is a mansion with over 150 years old, with a floor area of 1.088 square meter, located in the Plaza Larga, in the old town of Purchena, acquired the City Council in 1999 and is included in the inventory of the Architectural Heritage of Historic and Artistic Interest in Ministry of Culture of the Junta de Andalucía for requesting.
The grants awarded to Purchena and Albanchez, Ferrer noted “the importance of helping both municipalities to complete an infrastructure is as significant as the town hall that, in villages, above all, in small towns, become the first contact between citizens and government and essential reference state”.
