Marsh Cuevas has reserves of 21,7 cubic hectometres, a 14% less than in January 2014.

At the end of last January, Marsh Cuevas del Almanzora contained 21,74 cubic are, a 13,48% its storage capacity. These reserves represent a 14% less than in the same month of the year 2014, when stored 25,4 cubic are, according to data from Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning.

In the first four months of the hydrological year 2014-2015 (October to January), Cuevas Marsh wins 401.277 cubic meters of water from the basin contributions, while the transfers has received 964.202 cubic meters, versus 4,3 million cubic meters in the same period the previous hydrological year (280.836 cubic meters of Tajo-Segura and 683.366 Negratín). It should be noted that since the launch in early 2014 new pipeline installed the Junta de Andalucía to replace facilities destroyed by the rains of September 2012, most water diversions goes directly to the recipients without going through the swamp,

As regards the water outlets of the reservoir, between October and January Marsh sent 1,9 hectometres of water for agricultural irrigation downstream of the dam of Cuevas del Almanzora (4,9 in the hydrological year past).
