The delegate of Education, of the Andalusian, Francisca Fernández, He has presented the XVII International Poetry Contest Young "Martin Garcia Ramos", with the mayor of Albox, Small towers Francisco, Director of IES, Encarnacion Castillo and Adelina García, daughter of the writer who names the contest.
Each poet may submit one work, which must be original and unpublished, Technical and Free themes, with a length of between 700 and 1.000 verses. The award is endowed with 6.000 euros and the publication of the work in a prestigious publishing. The deadline for submission of original concludes 1 March 2018 and will begin next April, but still it has not finalized the day.

Parallel to the International Competition, the pupils and students of IES Martín García Ramos participate in a contest of stories and poetry "Book Day", It designed to encourage poetic creativity among students.
