Andalusian Seven schools have been awarded in the Contest III Experiences Teaching environmental education program on waste and recycling 'Recapacicla', organized by the Junta de Andalucía. This initiative aims to inform and involve the educational community in reducing, reuse and recycling of waste, and ways to promote responsible drinking.
In this issue centers are awarded: of IES Jaroso, Cuevas de Almanzora (Almería),; SEP Tarifa, Tarifa (Cádiz); IES Vicente Núñez, Aguilar de la Frontera (Cordova); IES Avenmoriel, de Benamourel (Nose); IES Jabalcuz, Jaen; Santa Rosa de Lima CPEE, Malaga; and IES José Saramago, Marinaleda (Seville).
Also, have earned special mention school residence Cristóbal Luque Onieva, Priego de Córdoba (Cordova); IES Virgen de la Caridad, Loja (Granada); Ies Gandhi, de Orcera (Jaén); IES Miraya Sea, Torre del Mar (Malaga); IES Chaves Nogales, Seville; Herrera and IES, Herrera (Seville).
The jury of the contest rated, addition to the various activities organized by the centers throughout the school year, the originality of the same and the involvement and commitment of the participants. The award, consists of a two-day to a Center for Environmental Education activities related to the theme of the campaign. In this issue involved a total of 188 centers, 3.165 teachers and 28.416 students.
This environmental education initiative, Recapacicla is organized by the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning within the Village program, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, ECOEMBES, Ecovidrio and the Andalusian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces. The beneficiaries of this program are schools supported by public funds providing compulsory secondary education, baccalaureate, training courses and schools of art.
