The Governing Council has approved the decree approving the creation three public schools for the course 2019/20, in order to meet the new demands of schooling and adapt the network of schools to the growing demands of the education system. Updating the network of public schools is a legal-administrative procedure carried out by the Ministry of Education and Sports.
Specifically, the Institute of Secondary Education will be incorporated into the town of Torre Benagalbón, belonging to Rincon de la Victoria (Malaga); the Conservatory of Music in Cuevas del Almanzora (Almería) and the Official School of Languages of Andújar (Jaén). Also, school and Primary La Cañada is suppressed in the village of Olías (Malaga), not schooled because no student from the course 2016/17.
Professional Music Conservatory is also created by the transformation of the Elementary Music Conservatory Miguel Caparros Belmonte de Cuevas del Almanzora, to cover the students from the area of influence of this Andalusian village school: Antas, Bédar, Cuevas del Almanzora, Garrucha, Huercal-Overa, the Gallados, Mojácar, Pulpí, Sorbas, Turre y Vera.
In the conservatory basic and professional teaching elementary music they are studied. In this manner, Almeria province has three professional conservatories in the capital, El Ejido and Cuevas del Almanzora. This action is intended to optimize integration available resources and offer students a better educational attention to teach- wham music of a professional nature.
Specialties musical instruments that offer the conservatory are: clarinet, with- work, fagot, flauta travesera, guitar, oboe, piano, trunk, viola, violin and cello in in- basic elementary music señanzas, and clarinet, flauta travesera, guitar, oboe, piano, viola, violin and cello in vocational education. The conservatory has this course 146 students (130 elementary and 16 professional) which they are served by a staff of 15 Teachers of Music and Performing Arts.
Network public schools in Andalusia is currently composed of 4.600 schools and colleges, where they study more than 1.408.000 students.
