Almería oil finds its way into the markets of China, South Korea and the Dominican Republic with small oil shipments.

In the first five months of this year, the Almeria mills, in 100 trade, have been exported 578.000 kilos of olive oil, representing an increase of 29,1% compared to the same period in 2013. The turnover of these sales abroad amounted to 1,4 million, a 5,1% more than in the previous year, according to data compiled by Extenda from the last report Estacom.

Almería ranks 20 of Spain by the value of exports of olive oil, with a national market share of 0,1%.

A 5,5% More oil this year
