The Territorial Delegation of Equality, Health and Social Policy has decided to declare as 'suitable for consumption' water supply areas of Costa Levante, Bajo Almanzora and Bedar, all managed by the supplier Galasa. The measure affects a total of 83 population centers of the towns of Carboneras, Mojácar, Tower, Antas, Arboleas, Cuevas del Almanzora, Garrucha, Huercal-Overa, Los Gallardos, Pulpí, Zurgena y Faust.

The resolution was adopted after performing for several months to track water quality, by the Public Health Service, in which it was found that the parameters analyzed are within the limits established by law.

This resolution is the result of actions taken by the water company of these three areas, GALASA, to requirements of the Territorial Delegation of Equality, Health and Social Policy.
