Andalusia and the Chinese province of Sichuan will open avenues for collaboration in the promotion of rural tourism

The Deputy Minister of Trade and Tourism in Seville meets with government representatives in the region to exchange experiences.

The Andalusian tourism management and Sichuan (China) will open avenues for collaboration in planning and promoting the rural segment and nature in order to benefit from the experience that has the autonomous community in this area and to apply it to the needs of this province, the fourth most populous Asian country.

The Deputy Minister of Tourism and Trade, Jesus Antonio Roldán, Sevilla kept in a meeting with members of a government and business delegation from Sichuan who are visiting Andalucia and have shown interest in knowing the policies of the Ministry relating to the management of the supply of rural tourist accommodation and the actions aimed at developing products in this segment.

During the meeting, Jesus Antonio Roldán detailed planning initiatives and promotion developed by the regional government to improve the competitiveness of tourism destinations inside, well as legal and technical aspects of the rules governing the implementation of business, services and facilities or to implement certificates tourist and environmental quality.

Among other actions, Deputy Minister to the Chinese delegation walked the highlights of the Comprehensive Strategy for Sustainable Tourism Development Interior ' Interior Plan', an initiative promoted by the Board to enhance territorial cohesion, socio-economic revitalization and the creation of tourism products through 43 concrete measures 704 municipalities in the community.

The delegation from China was headed by the Deputy Director General of the Sichuan Tourism Administration, Song Ming, and integrated, inter alia, representatives of tourist cities of the region, tourism and cultural industries, and the main University of the province. The visit to Andalusia has been organized by the Association for Cooperation and Promotion Spain-China, Acoopec.
